At MODERA HOUSE, we believe that quality windows and doors mean much more than choosing a profile and glazing. That’s why we use one of the most advanced installation technologies - factory RAL installation, which achieves maximum airtightness, thermal insulation, and long service life for every opening element in the home.
What is RAL installation?
RAL installation is a system of strict solutions and materials for fastening and sealing during the installation of windows and doors, carried out according to a European standard. It provides:
Strong and secure mechanical fastening of the windows/doors to the wall/module
Three independent protective layers around the joint, minimizing the risk of condensation, energy losses, and moisture or wind penetration
An airtight connection to the structure - a key factor for a stable indoor microclimate, a healthy living environment, and protection against mold formation
How do we install windows and doors at MODERA HOUSE?
1. Inner layer - vapor-tight membrane
Installation begins with integrating a special inner tape with a high Sd value, which prevents warm and moist indoor air from entering the joint between the windows/doors and the panel. This eliminates the risk of condensation in the inner zone and ensures maximum energy efficiency.
3. Outer layer - vapor-permeable membrane
On the outside, we use a high-quality wind- and vapor-permeable membrane with a low Sd value. It allows any residual moisture to escape outward, while preventing wind and water from entering the structure. The result: a dry, healthy, and durable joint over time.
2. Middle layer - thermal insulation
The space around the windows/doors is tightly filled with a special foam with excellent thermal insulation properties. This layer prevents thermal bridges and guarantees quietness, comfort, and no drafts.
4. Factory-controlled execution
Installation is performed in the factory during panel assembly. All components and tapes are applied in a controlled environment under optimal conditions, with strict quality control at every step. This guarantees that the windows/doors will perform flawlessly - without energy loss and without the classic problems: condensation, mold, and leaks.
What do you gain from our installation?
At MODERA HOUSE, we view window and door installation as a key technological process - not an add-on, but an essential part of your home’s comfort and durability.
Maximum airtightness and no leaks throughout the home’s entire service life
Significantly lower heating and cooling costs thanks to eliminated heat loss
A long-lasting healthy indoor environment, with no risk of mold around the windows
Quality and protection comparable to the best passive and low-energy standard homes

Key principles
Airtightness prevents uncontrolled air movement through the building envelope. This eliminates the biggest heat losses in winter and unwanted hot-air intake in summer.
It is achieved through detailed sealing of all joints - around windows and doors, between panels, and where pipes and cables pass through.
Rothoblaas membranes and tapes provide not only air- and wind-tightness, but also optimal vapor permeability and protection against rain, moisture, and condensation. Each element is selected according to its position - inner layer (vapor barrier), outer layer (windproof membrane), or a special detail for installing windows and doors.
How do we carry out installation at MODERA HOUSE?
Main components and layers
Inner layer (red level): sealing tapes that ensure total airtightness and prevent moist air from entering the joint. Protects the insulation and structure from condensation and mold.
Middle layer (yellow level): thermal and acoustic insulating foam or tape that fills the joint and prevents thermal bridges.
Outer layer (blue level): vapor-permeable membranes/tapes that block moisture and wind, while allowing residual moisture to escape outward.
All benefits for the homeowner
Much lower heating and cooling costs - up to 70% more efficient insulation compared to standard solutions.
Constant temperature and excellent air quality without localized drafts and moisture.
Protection from mold, condensation, and allergies - walls and joints prevent airborne moisture from being trapped in the insulation or around the windows/doors.

Long-term structural stability - protects timber elements from deformation, aging, and weather cycles.

Reusable formwork - technology designed with nature and efficiency in mind
At MODERA HOUSE, we work in line with the principles of sustainable construction, which is why we use reusable (industrial) formwork technology for building concrete foundations. This allows us not only to deliver a high-quality, solid foundation, but also to reduce construction waste to an absolute minimum, while optimizing both costs and execution time.
Why reusable formwork?
1. Guaranteed zero
waste
Reusable formwork consists of factory-made panels and structural elements that are assembled precisely and can be dismantled and reused dozens, often hundreds of times. This means:
An end to single-use wooden formwork that becomes waste after the first use
Minimizing the need to dispose of or burn old materials after each build
A clean, organized site that matches the best European practices
2. Lower construction
costs
Industrial formwork systems are installed and removed significantly faster and more easily than traditional solutions. This leads to:
Shorter timelines for building the foundations
Lower costs for labor, materials, and logistics
Fewer unexpected losses/issues and less need for additional finishing work, thanks to perfectly smooth and accurate concrete surfaces
3. Precision and reliable execution
System formwork guarantees:
Precise shape, level, and dimensions of the foundation according to the project
The ability to achieve complex geometries and different foundation types (strip, pad, complex)
Better on-site safety through stable, securely fixed working platforms
What does the client get?
With reusable formwork at MODERA HOUSE, you build a solid foundation for the future—without compromising the environment.
A durable, fast, and cost-effective foundation, with minimal waste and maximum execution quality
The ability to achieve the best parameters for waterproofing and thermal insulation of the foundation, thanks to smooth and accurate concrete surfaces
Long-lasting and eco-friendly investment - you lay the foundation of your home responsibly toward nature
